Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Road Rec, the website, vehicle profile pages, decals, and rankings operated by McGee Strategy, LLC (“Road Rec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, publishing a vehicle profile, activating a decal, or otherwise using Road Rec, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Road Rec.

Road Rec is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it current. You must not impersonate another person or represent a vehicle you do not own or have permission to feature.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or that continued access creates a risk to Road Rec, its users, or third parties.

3. Vehicle profiles

A Road Rec profile is built around a vehicle, not a person. You may publish details about a vehicle you own or are authorized to represent, including its nickname, year, make, model, trim, type, build status, color, story, tags, builder credit, and a link to an external page. You choose whether a profile is public.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By publishing a profile you grant Road Rec a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and reproduce that content as needed to operate the service, including showing the profile page and its decal to visitors. This license continues for as long as the content remains on Road Rec and ends when you remove it.

You can unpublish or remove a profile at any time. Unpublishing hides it from the public; deleting removes it. Rankings and visit history are derived data and may persist after a profile is removed.

4. Decals and activation

Road Rec decals display a code that links to a vehicle profile. Ordering a decal is a separate request fulfilled by Road Rec and may be subject to availability and a separate shipping process. Shipping information you provide when ordering is used only to fulfill and track that order and is visible to Road Rec administrators.

Activation links a decal to a specific vehicle profile. You are responsible for activating decals only for vehicles you own or are authorized to represent. Activated decals and their linked profiles are public; do not place a decal on a vehicle you do not have the right to represent.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Road Rec to impersonate another person or feature a vehicle you do not own or have permission to represent;
• Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or that exposes someone’s personal information;
• Include license plates, VINs, home addresses, or other identifying data on a public profile;
• Attempt to access data you are not entitled to, or to manipulate visits, rankings, or activation codes;
• Use automated means to generate visits, skew rankings, scrape profiles, or overload the service.

We may moderate, hide, or remove content and may revoke decals or profiles that violate these rules. Everyone can report a profile, and reports are reviewed by Road Rec administrators.

6. Reports and enforcement

Any visitor can report a profile for impersonation, privacy concerns, or unsafe content. You may optionally provide an email when reporting so we can follow up. Road Rec decides, in its discretion, whether and how to act on a report, including hiding, unpublishing, or removing a profile, or revoking an activation.

7. Third-party links

Profiles may link to external sites. Road Rec does not control and is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers

Road Rec is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that profiles, decals, rankings, or activation will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Rankings reflect qualified profile visits and are not endorsements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Road Rec disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, McGee Strategy, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Road Rec, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will note the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice on Road Rec. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and Road Rec agree to try to resolve disputes informally first.
